Ten Commandments of the Palega Bulldogs

1. I will be respectful to all coaches:
1. My coaches, the coaches of my opponents and all referees
2. I will be respectful to all parents and elders:
1. My parents, the parents of my teammates, the parents of my opponents and all adults I encounter
2. I will trust my coaches to respect me and go to bat for me
3. I will not curse or use profanity while participating in lacrosse:
1. I will not use mean words, words that cut others down or other foul language
4. I will respect others’ privacy:
1. I will not touch other people without their permission
2. I will not mess around with the belongings of other people
3. I will not request or share inappropriate information
5. I will maintain a 2.0 (C Average) in the classroom:
1. I will take advantage of tutorials offered by my coaches
2. I will do my homework and school assignments on time
3. I will ask my teachers, parents and coaches if I need help and will notify my coaches if my grades slip
6. I will give 100% while practicing and playing in lacrosse games and activities:
1. I will always try my best
2. I will notify my coaches if I am hurt or cannot fully participate
3. I will make up misbehavior to my team and will accept consequences of my actions
7. I will keep a positive attitude even when the going gets rough:
1. I will be the “bigger player” when the play seems unfair
2. I will notify my coaches if there is unfair play going on
3. I will never respond with violence
8. I will encourage all my teammates and never discourage them:
1. I will say “good effort” when a teammate makes a mistake and offer to help them
2. I will not talk down to my teammates, coaches, referees or opponents
3. I will not call anyone names
9. I will be on time for all lacrosse activities:
1. I will be on time for practice everyday
2. I will notify my coaches if I am going to miss any lacrosse activities BEFORE the activity
3. If I miss a team activity, I will make it up to my team
10. I will carry myself like a professional on and off the field
1. I will always represent myself in the best way possible
