** Due to the Amish-like existence of UMass and the Hampton Inn we regret that we could not post this on Wednesday (hint, hint, no internet) …(Sean G) **

The plane was fun, considering the facts my knees are in my face, the movie kept on screwing up, and we kept on hitting turbulence. If the check engine light went on, or there was a decrease in cabin pressure, it would make this flight different from all other plane rides, other then the fact I was riding with a bunch of high IQ individuals. The music was bad, so bad it was, it didn’t meet the expectation of “terrible.” The person in front of me had their chair back so dang far, thus making me feel like a genetically modified square watermelon on a shelf in Japan. Square watermelons are just like everything else on this planet of ours, genetically modified organisms. As of 8:50 am (Pacific Time) my knees are sorer than my grandma’s, who had both of her knee caps removed. The movie hasn’t broken down through twenty five minutes of playing, so far. But hey, you can never be so sure.
(Marcus H.)
In the lobby, not even on the plane, I was excited. Shivers went down my spine - I couldn’t wait any longer. Finally I’m on the plane really excited. On the plane was really fun: Ryan G. allowed Dermot, Alec M. and me to play on his PSP. And it was the most fun game ever in the entire universe, Grand Theft Auto. The movie choices are all right. The first movie they’re playing was Eight Below. Otherwise everything is going great. It looks like my dad’s happy, well almost happy. But definitely everyone else is really exited including coach Ellee. But like Sean said in his letter you can never be so sure.

We went on a trolley tour around Boston, went to Steve’s ice cream to buy saltwater taffy and ice cream, oh my, and took a bus to UMass. On the way we watched “The Simpsons” on the DVD player on the bus. Then we unloaded all of our junk off of the bus, and we to our dorms to run around like decapitated chickens. Later, we went to dinner to find the grub. It did not not not have maggots in it. Two hours later, we had a team meeting and drive the coaches to the brink if insanity, and we were supposed to be in bed, but we started running around, screaming, calling each other’s cell phones, and spying on the other team, which lead to my friend and I to be the first ones of our group to be asleep at, oh, 2:00 am.

Today’s schedule includes a multi-team scrimmage at 11 am against Georgia and Colorado. Playing 15 minute halves the team looked like a team and played well. The highlight was our awesome man-down defense – for two solid minutes they allowed ZERO goals! The players appear to be having fun and enjoy having the run of the UMass campus. Our first official game is later this afternoon…more later….

We played Team Ohio, and got annihilated!!!!!

Today was better than ever, we played three games and got shellacked only three times. First we played Hudson Valley, lost, um, let’s just say we lost. Then we played New Jersey North, got shelled there, then we played Eastern Mass, and got killed better than cows at a slaughter house (“It’s déjà vu all over again.”-Yogi Berra). But it was cool, because we got to play in the mud and rain. To some individuals, the game was exceptionally good, because the girls Northern California came to see us get obliterated. Personally, I prefer to die in peace, but that’s just me, what the heck do I know?
(Ellee K.)
Actually NJ North demonstrated great sportsmanship by not running up the score. Our first goal of the day was scored vs. E. Mass by David in the pouring rain. The team celebrated by chest bumping each other smiling and laughing. It was like the Red Sox when they won the World Series!

As you have probably noticed, I have been writing in this log for a while. Well guess what? It’s my computer, and no one else wants to write in this thing, so HOORAY FOR ME!!!!!! But anyway, today we leave UMass, take a “five hour, fifty minute plane ride from Boston to the San Francisco International Airport”, yee-haw! We played a game to day against Adirondack Lacrosse, and we were up two-one at half time, but we wound losing four-two, and packing our bags to leave for SFO, as we were going to do anyway, for twas the last day of our totally bust up of the dormitories. So we pack, hijack a bus to Boston Airport, and made our flight by the hairs on our chinny-chin-chins. So here I am typing this with my awesome music, lip syncing, and about to watch all three “Indiana Jonses”, if my battery doesn’t die…
(J. Zerbe)
Today we lost another game, but we scored 2 goals and the other team scored 4 goals…A NEW RECORD!!! I wasted the rest of the day stringing David’s stick, after that I wasted the remaining hour before we left restringing my new pink stick. Then I got on the plane and typed this blog up.
(Tommy C.)
We lost today again but we were winning at the end of the first half (2-1). I had a ton of fun on this trip because there were new people to play with that were mostly good players. The East Coast still kicked our butts. The West Coast is definitely playing catch up with the East Coast because they have been playing for a long time and we haven’t been playing for a long time. I had a lot of fun becoming friends with Dermot (stinky), Alec, Ryan, Nick, David, Brian, John, Alex, and Rocky. If I Could I would definitely do it again. Go Nor Cal!!! We Kick #$%!!!!!
(Nick M. is the most awesome kid in the world.)
Pretty fun we lost. I played goalie. I played good…Real good. I only let in 2 goals. YAY. Pretty fun, yup.
(Alex F.)
Ok, this was very fun and hard. We sucked, but our defense kicked ass. The food was bad, but I still had fun.
(DAVID M. AKA THE BIG SAMOAN DOGG AND TEDDY BEAR PEACE OUT ATOWN DOODOODOODOO!!)
For me it was a sad day. It was time to come back home. As my best buddy will say “WHYYYYYYY!” I really wish he was here. Although I really made GREAT FRIENDS. That’s what really counts. I’m really going to miss them. Today we had a little game in the morning. We did really good. We lost, but that really didn’t matter. This game was the BEST. There was great team work. “IT WAS AWESOME!” After our game the team went to support our NOR CAL girls’ team. They did better than we did. They’re a pretty good team. Well this has been the best experience ever in my life. I’ll never forget it. I really made good friends especially my boys Tommy Cummings, Alex Fettner, Max, Connor, Rocky P., Alec, Zack Z., Dermot (aka STINKY), little Nicky, and all my other boys. For the girls I made good friends with the entire girls’ team too. Like Alexa M., Sara M., Hannah, Kaly, Lisa, Devon, Paige, Natti, Ollie, Marissa, Margo, and Jessica. I had a lot of fun!!!
Today I am tired and I hate traveling right now!
I had a great time in Boston and the boys’ team was really nice especially Brian, David, and Alex. The dorms were not the best but they were good enough. We had a great time in Boston and got a chance to get to know the Nor Cal boys really well, and they were all really nice and funny. The girls were all awesome too, and Hannah was really nice.
(Alexa M.)
We all rocked!
(Henry H.)
This whole tournament was extremely fun. I was playing against some of the best players in the world, at first I wasn’t sure I really wanted to, but all regrets are gone. I never have been at this part of the country so seeing the east coast was very enjoyable. All of the competition was great, and sometimes a little too good if you know what I mean. Playing against New Jersey was a wake up call to the West Coast: they were perfect on their left and right hand. It was amazing. This tournament was great exposure for me and the rest of the team. I’m one of the youngest and smallest players on the team so I learned how to get ground balls without just hitting the man and going to the ball. I can’t wait to use all the skills I learned against some other competition, and also the mindset I became accustomed to. I’m now more aggressive and focused. I also loved spending time with the team. Our whole team was nice and fun-loving. I would like to thank our coaches for their dedication to lacrosse. We weren’t the best team but I think we had by far the most soul. I will remember this tournament for the rest of my life, thanks to everyone who made it happen. Go Nor Cal!!!
(Sara)
I had soo much fun in Boston. It was a really good experience, and I am sooo happy I went. I made soo many good, new friends like the Ohio team, and all of the Nor Cal boys. All of you guys were so cool especially Brian, Alex, and John. I enjoyed becoming better friends with all of the girls I already knew like Devon, Jess, and Marissa. All the games were soo much fun the Nor Cal girls rocked. The guys were good in their own way of course. The girls tied 3, lost 1, and won 1. I had such a good time and I can’t wait to do youth 15. XOXO Sara
(Hannah P.)
Hey, Wow this Boston trip went by so fast it’s amazing! I had sooo much fun meeting people from other states and getting to know how cool the other guys in California really are. I thought that the guys were kind of strange but now I realize that I was such and idiot! The great friends I made were David, Max, Nick, and Alex. I made such good friends with every single girl on my team and bonded as if I had known each of them for a long time. I will truly miss this experience and I hope that soon we can all hang out! I love all of you guys NORCAL OWNS LIFE!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah and guys don’t ever change you guys are the coolest guys I have every met in my entire life. Give me a call some time and we’ll hang out! Love Always, Hannah Perkins
(Alec M.)

Oh and why is there a dog sniffing this blog. Umm I YO MAMMA played goalie and I personally think I was good. I might try it YO MAMMA later on in life. I really like Steve’s ice cream and I ummm YO MAMMA really thought our Boston trip was cool. What I have YO MAMMA also learned from this trip is that NICK is the worst ever. And Ryan slaps - I didn’t get him back very often unfortunately. I slept in the hall YOMAMMA one night and it was delicious. I liked the ice cream at the food place as did CHI CHOW #1. That’s all YO MAMMA that I have to say.
