Welcome to Lacrosse for LIFE
"Bringing lacrosse to the city and the city to lacrosse."

Who we are:
How you can help:
Send us an email!
Forms & Information:

MISSION:
We provide year-round
youth lacrosse and enrichment programs
in underserved, urban communities in San Francisco.

VISION:
By participating in a
caring, competitive team
environment, children
will learn self esteem.

Mentoring, goal-setting
and discipline will enable
participants to establish
a personal framework
for success that is
applicable to all
areas of LIFE.

VALUES:

Leadership
is doing the right thing
all the time, setting an
example on and off the
field, following instructions and asking for help
when I need it.

Integrity
means telling the truth,
treating myself and others
with respect, admitting
when I am wrong while
making it right and being
true to my word.

Friendship
is about having fun,
meeting new
people, sharing wins
and losses, lending
a hand and being fair.

Education
is more important
than lacrosse. I will
behave in school the
same way I do in
lacrosse and will focus
on getting good grades.
I will approach all things
as an opportunity to
learn and will teach
others what I know
with kindness.

from 4 pm - 6 pm.
Games are on
weekends.

Newsletter layout
and design
assistance is

Mentoring
Kids, like adults,
gravitate toward
different sorts of
personalities in their
growth process.

You may not know
lacrosse, but you
might be the adult
who is able to help
a student learn how
to study. Maybe you
were a collegiate
athlete in another
sport, or overcame
adversity in your
own life.

Not able to make
a long commitment?
Sign up for team
visits where you
can share your
educational, work
or personal
experience.

Become a Referee!
In order to provide
the best lacrosse
experience for our
youth, well-trained
officials are needed.

High School and
College players
are welcome.

Training is FREE and
you
will receive
per-game payment!

Do you have a skill or passion not listed here? Please email us to chat about possibilities!

Application

What we do for YOU:

Academic & Community
Service Documentation
Many middle schools, high
schools, and colleges
require community service
of their students. We
are happy to serve as
a sponsor for your
service hours!

Working on a portfolio
project? Many of our
volunteer options can
be tailored to meet
your school's requirements.

Background Checks
We require all
volunteers to pass a
national background
check conducted through
the National Center for
Safety Initiatives
, in
partnership with the
National Council of
Youth Sports
, of which
we are a member.

Upon receipt and
acceptance of your
application, information
on completing the online
background check will
be provided to you.
